How do I access my e-mail with an iPhone or mobile device? (for pre-Dec 2012 – Google-powered email)

If your Aarcade Domain & Email Plan was set up after the first week of Dec 2012 (i.e. you do not have a Google-powered email system), do not use the following instructions. Instead refer to the instructions provided in the main Domain & Email category.

Mobile Web Mail

You can access your e-mail on your mobile device by logging in to your web mail (at http://mail.your_domain.com) via your device’s web browser. Your web mail will automatically be presented in a mobile friendly format.

Mobile E-Mail Application

Most smart mobile devices ship with an e-mail application installed. You can add your e-mail account to a mobile e-mail application by enabling your IMAP and applying the IMAP Settings as described in the support article How do I access my e-mail with a desktop application? (for pre-Dec 2012 - Google-powered email)

iPhone and iPad

To configure the “Mail” application on an Apple device:

  1. Make sure you’ve enable IMAP per support article How do I access my e-mail with a desktop application? (for pre-Dec 2012 - Google-powered email)
  2. Open the Settings application
  3. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  4. Tap Add Account…
  5. Tap Gmail
  6. Enter your account information, being sure to use your full address, e.g. “username@your_domain.com”
  7. Tap Next
  8. Tap Save

You can add additional e-mail accounts by repeating the steps above.
